If you like your skincare products light, you'll love this new range of natural products that includes a facewash, anti-ageing day and night moisturiser, eye serum and cleanser. All products have been given the thumbs-up by the Vegan Society, come in recycled packaging and have been formulated to adhere to current thinking from the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, so you can feel confident that your face is in safe hands!

When I came into the office today I was immediately asked by a colleague what I'd done to my skin as it 'looked amazing'. Now, this was an easy one to answer as I'd just spent some time checking out the Purity Project face range and had got to work with the facewash, anti-aging day moisturiser (yeah, that's allowed now I'm 30 but only because I do an awful lot of frowning) and eye line serum. Completely on cue, I was told that my face looked 'really glowing', so if that's not enough of a positive review, I don't know what is! Going into a bit more detail, however...

The range is one for the sensitive skin brigade, as the brand's commitment to safe skincare and avoidence of harsh ingredients makes it extremely mild. But despite this it doesn't have that thin, watery quality that some natural skincare products have; wearing actually does make the skin feel quenched and softened. I especially like the light moisturiser (£15) for its non-greasy moisturising qualities. The face wash (£12) is also nice and light, and didn't make my face go blotchy as most such products do.

At the Purity Project's store You can buy an organic facecloth by Disana to go with the products which I found helpful as it stimulates and exfoliates the skin.

I too have recently bought The Face Range from this new company,The Purity Project.www.purity-project.com I am far older than you, (aged 50) but I have a teenage daughter and I don't want either of us to carry on using products on our bodies that contain known or even suspect toxins. I bought the entire range for about £100 or so. I got the anti-ageing ones, Anti-ageing Night Moisturiser, Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser, Eye Lines Serum, Face Firming Serum and greedy me, the Face Cleanser with a Disanna Face Cloth Pack of 3 re-usables. To my daughter I gave just the Face Wash and Light Face Moisturiser. Delighted is an understatement, everyone has noticed I have started to look younger, but just as amazingly my daughter's acne has cleared up in just a few days, like magic! With no toxins, sensitisers or animal cruelty, we are in product heaven. Its not pricey either! 5 stars plus for this one

Hi Julie

Wow- what a success story! Yes, I used the moisturiser and face wash this morning and my skin feels incredibly soft. It's great to find non-toxic stuff that actually works...
